Specify
the input and output events of your Expert System:
- For each input event, provide a short
description and specify the associated probability or probability range. Probabilities
must be expressed as percentages.
- For each output event, provide a short
description, but no probabilities. There are two kinds of output events: intermediate and
final. When the output of an if-then rule is also an input to another rule, the
output is an intermediate output. For example, in the two rules, IF (E1 AND E2) THEN E3 and IF
(E3 OR E4) THEN E5, the event E3
is an intermediate output
event.
Do not provide event
descriptions if your expert system is confidential or a trade secret. Use coded
information instead. This way, only you can interpret correctly the meaning of the events.
